Why This Blog

I’ve been studying in the United States for 3 1/2 years. And I still don’t know English.

As a native from Brazil and a Portuguese speaker, I still struggle with English in every-day conversations.

In this blog, I will tell readers the words I learn every day and the situations in which I learn them — words that I bet foreigners never learned in their English classes back home.

Maybe their English professors didn’t know those words either…

I will also tell readers about my struggle with the English language (i.e. funny situations that I face because of misusing or not knowing a word).
